                     Jailbreaks

Jailbreaking an iOS 7 device is something that a lot of iPhone users do so that they can remove all the limitations placed on their devices by Apple. Every Apple device that is currently being sold can be jailbroken. All you need is the required software and a little technological expertise. If you don't know what jailbreaking is about and where to get started, I have put together this list of three methods used by iPhone users to jailbreak their iPhones. Choose a method that suits you best and get started:

1. Tethered- This is an old method of jailbreaking iOS devices but the chances of a tethered jailbreak being released before an untethered one are still high. Here, you rely on tethering your device with a computer and booting through the computer each time you start.

2. Untethered- Here, Apple devices will be able to reboot on their own without any help from a computer. This means you can turn your iPhone on and off as many times as you want without having to worry about jailbreaking it or corrupting your data.

3. Semi tethered- Any iPhone device which has been jailbroken using the tethered method can also be jailbroken using semi-tethered methods. Here you will install some additional files into the kernel and this will allow you to boot even tethered jailbroken iPhone successfully. You no longer have to worry about getting stuck at the Apple welcome screen and can go ahead and download Cydai apps.

Now that you know the three main methods of jailbreaking your iPhone there really is nothing else you need to know. Always try and get an untethered jailbreak for your device. If you can't find any, go for a tethered one and try to back it up with a semi tethered jailbreak. There are some other methods of jailbreaking iPhones which aren't too popular as well. These are called the iBoot exploit, Userland exploit and Bootrom exploit. While not being as popular as the above mentioned jailbreak methods, they are just as effective.

Just one thing which you should remember about jailbreaking your iPhone, once you do so, you will lose your Apple warranty. There is no reason to panic though. All is not lost. You just have to be a little smart. Take a backup of your Apple device using the iTunes store before you jailbreak it. This will allow you to safely restore your device from the backup at any time in the future and the jailbreak will automatically be removed from your device. If anyone examines your iPhone after this, they won't be able to tell that it was every jailbroken, even if they are from Apple. So you actually can experience all the wonders of a jailbroken iPhone while still retaining your devices warranty. Isn't that just music to your ears?
